Donald Tomei
Donald (Don) Tomei passed away on August 2, 2014, after a lengthy illness. He was born and raised in San Francisco, graduating from Galileo High School in 1946. After high school, he joined the Army and became a paratrooper. Following his return to San Francisco, he married his high school sweetheart, Audrey Paladini and together they had one daughter.
He studied architecture and later founded Precision Wood Products in San Francisco, which specialized in circular wood stairs. The family moved to Marin County, relocating the business as well, and renaming it Marin Stair and Mill.
They moved to Lincoln Hills in 2000 where Don enjoyed his hobby of making beautiful wood jewelry. He was also an original member of the Lincoln Hills Italian Club when it was formed in 2003. Don is survived by his wife of 64 years, Audrey, daughter, Debra Ezes, Son-in-law Mark Ezes, and grandson, Garrett Ezes.
