In Memoriam – Barbara Appleby

Italian Club Member, Barbara Appleby, passed away in August 2018. She was a graduate of Dominican College in San Rafael and pursued a career in teaching until she retired. She joined the Italian Club in 2014 and remained a member until her death. She was a member of the Club’s Activities Committee for several years and once she left the committee, she continued to be a willing volunteer at all the Italian Club events, helping wherever needed. She was an avid reader, quilter, baker, and never one to sit out a dance. Barbara also participated in many other Clubs in Sun City.
